I recieved two products from John Frieda’s Luxurious Volume Hair Line complimentary of Influenster. Below you will find reviews as well as pictures showing exactly how that worked. All opinions are honest and my own, I am not getting paid to do this post.
Here is my hair on a normal flat, straightened day vs with the mousse
Website Claims: “3x more volume with natural-feeling softness.*
Style your way to touchable fullness and lift. Now with Caffeine Vitality Complex, our ultralight Luxurious Volume™ Perfectly Full Volumizing Mousse adds lasting fullness without a crunchy feel.
Thicken fine hair for touchably soft body.”
I love to scrunch my hair but I always despise when my hair looks wet and feels crunchy all day- it’s just not comfortable. Also my hair is difficult to work with, I haven’t had my hair cut in almost a year so the layers are grown out and it’s terribly hard to scrunch right now.
The ultimate test – will this mousse scrunch it when the others barely do? YES it did! As it claimed it was not a crunchy dried up finish and it was an all day hold, by 9pm my hair wasn’t falling flat at all. Using this product made me want to style my hair like this every single day.
This was my hair with the hairspray to add some volume. Compare it to the straightened hair in picture at the top of this blog.
Website Claims: “Lock in style for a longer lasting hold than the leading competitor.
Give fine hair lush body and a lasting hold. Now with Caffeine Vitality Complex, Luxurious Volume™ Forever Full™ All-Day Hold Hairspray is an ultra-fine mist formulated to give you our highest level of hold with brushability.
Create and keep touchably full style all day.”
I was pleasantly surprised by this hairspray. Those of you who have been reading my blog for a while know by now that I really don’t use hairspray much. I don’t style my hair in ways it would need much hold and usually hate how crusty the hair feels.
Because of that I had to go into testing this product with an open mind. I decided to straighten my hair like I usually would, but it always ends up really flat so I decided to use this hairspray to get a little va va voom.
The smell of both these products are subtle and quite nice. It was fast drying and didn’t make my hair feel hard or crusty. Just as the the site claimed it was touchable, brushably and all day hold – it was lovely!
Verdict: I have fallen in love with John Frieda’s hair products and would absolutely recommend these to anyone with fine, flat hair. They are great products that don’t over do it and I can not wait to buy the shampoo and in shower treatment from the same volume line!
