Mini Birthday Sephora Haul

Two days until my birthday ! February 11th and I will be 17…. ok 20…. Fine fine, stop pulling my leg. I will be 24. Scary to think of honestly.

Like everyone else I was offered between Fresh items or Marc Jacobs, and since I love Marc Jacobs lipstick I picked that one! I was lucky though, ABH lipsticks have been added to Sephora Canada (FINALLY I GET TO TRY THEM YESSS) and they had a great offer of Nars lipstick and perfume samples I took advantage of.

Before I give it all away here are the items I decided to pick up. **All Swatches are at the bottom of the post**

Vita Liberata Tanning Mitt

I grabbed this because I won a self tanner a while back but was terrified of using it without a mit. I have only used spray ones so I am excited I can finally try it out, and tell you all how it is!

Sephora’s Birthday Choice- Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip CrΓ¨me Lipstick in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Blacquer

Yess! This is my third Marc Jacobs lipstick, all deluxe samples lol. They stay on forever, this is such a gorgeous shade and the black liner is stunning. They both stay on forever, I had a hard time rubbing the liner off my hand with a wipe after Swatching.

NARS Satin Lip Pencil – Rikugien

If I am not mistaken this was last years birthday sample, I love the shade however could not bring myself to purchase the full size. I was so happy when I saw an offer for this with the perfume samples, I just with there were more product in it.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick – Carina

I have been dying to try ABH’s liquid lipstick but nowhere in Canada sold it, Sephora Canada just got them in a few weeks ago and I had to jump on it. This was my big purchase of this haul, and let me tell you it did not disappoint! It stays on throughout the day and is such a beautiful colour. Pinky red or as they call it, Intense Watermelon which is pretty on point to describe it. Also it doesn’t dry out my lips as much as many other liquids do, definitely need more of these.

Sephora Collection Eye Pencil To Go – Pure White

I thought it was about time I bought a white liner, I can’t believe that I have gone this long without one.

Samples!

Tons of perfume samples, a Dr Jart no more needles, Bumble and bumble thickening shampoo, and Caudalie resveratrol lift eye lifting balm. Honestly probably will only use the Marc Jacobs perfume samples, I usually hoard the rest for peoples birthdays or Christmas.

Swatches, as promised

  1. Love the Anastasia lip color – its beautiful! Does it dry out your lips at all? I’ve found my lips don’t like most liquid lipsticks out there which makes me sad.
So jealous of your Marc Jacobs bday gift – I’m determined to get that this year, especially after they ran out of the Nars birthday gifts last year!

    1. I find most liquid lipsticks do dry my lips out after a while. I was able to wear this one from 7:30 am until around 3 before it started drying a little bit. so I put a pit of lip balm on top and it seemed to fix that up. It is definitely one of the better liquid formulations I have tried!
and so sad about the nars one 😦 they really don’t plan things well

      1. Omg don’t get me started about Sephora and their so called “gifts” – between the birthday gift selling out and them never having the VIB Rouge gifts in stock I could scream! They really fall short in their so-called perks. 😑

      2. RIGHT?! Girl I could rant about this for ages. The ONLY reason I became a rouge member is to get the sesonal ‘free’ gifts which 1-aren’t free cause you have to spend $35 and 2- just like you said they sell out in like 20 minutes, not cool and not fair. The past year has been a real eye opener when it comes to Sephora
