MARSK Mineral Eyeshadow in Mudcake – $22.50

This is a full sized product, at first look when I opened this, I wasn’t in love but once I swatched it I saw it’s true beauty. It’s kind of a brown-plum with a hint of green glitter, had me mesmerzied! For being a 100% mineral all natural shadow is has an extremely soft, creamy texture blends out beautifully! It is also very versatile, you can use it by itself, over other shadows, or as the picture above shows the different pay offs while wet, primed, and diffrent bases(ipsy’s picture). I’m not sure of the staying power yet but I will keep you all posted. Swatch of it by itself below, camera did not want to focus on it properly due to all the glitter haha.

theBalm Cosmetics Mr. Write (Now) in Jack B. Bronze – $17.00

This is a full sized product, swatch is in the picture above! I love theBalm cosmetics, the quality of their products never let me down. This went on really nicely, you don’t have to press hard at all to get colour payoff however I wasn’t nuts on the colour. It was more of a dark golden brown rather than a rich bronze. But that doesn’t take away from how good the actual product is, once it was one it was not going anywhre! I couldn’t rub off the swatch even if my life depended on it.

Beau Gâchis® Paris Smudge Brush – $12

Yes full sized! I love when I recieve brushes, this brush is super soft! I can not wait to test it out, from others reviews I hear it smudges liners really well.

Salon Perfect Perfect Brow Pomade in light brown – $4.88

This is a full sized product, I was beyond excited to see I was recieving a brow pomade in my bag, however then I remembered the beauty quiz doesn’t ask your eyebrow colour so how do they know what colour to give you? Answer: They don’t, they assume everyones eyebrows are light brown apparently. Many of you have seen the pictures of myself I naturally have VERY thick, blackest black eyebrows. I can not use it at all so I will be giving it away to one of my friends for their birthday. Since it is so inexpensive and sold at walmart I thought I could just buy my correct shade, but sadly that isn’t an option either because it is not sold in Canadian walmarts, very dissappointing all around.

Lasting Smiles Lip Balm in Peppermint Creme – $3.99

This is a full sized product, it contains peppermint oil which soothes lips rather nicely, so far I like it however I wish it had a tint of colour. Smile for a cause – every purchasefrom this brand helps fund cleft surgeries for children.

.em Cosmetics Lash Gallery Clean Volume Mascara -$16

This was a bonus full sized item for having a friend of mine sign up. It is my first item from Michelle Phans line, and it is rather disappointing. I like my mascara to be visible, lucious and obvious however this one it non-existant. Another item to be passed on

The total value of the bag is $60.37 which is an incredible value compared to how much the Ipsy subscription is. With the bonus item the value goes to $76.37. The only real item I am impressed with this month is the MARSK eyeshadow though.

What did you get in your ipsy glam bag this month? Let me know in the comments below!

      1. I haven’t gotten my bag yet sadly but I’m hoping to get the brow stuff and hopefully the eye shadow too. Why r u regifting them? If you don’t mind me asking.

      2. The shadow is beautiful! And I get the brow pomade is good however my eyebrows are black and they gave me a very light brown haha. As for the mascara is doesn’t do much, if anything and I know someone who likes that ! Hopefully your bag arrives soon !! 🙂

      3. I completely understand your frustration. I hate that they don’t match the product to your skin tone. I hope mine comes soon too
