The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag

Hey lovelies ! Hopefully everyone is enjoying their weekend. Mine has been Finn of snow! I have been tagged by the beautiful Ania from Lipstick and Dreams to do the Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag, this is my very first time as well! So a great big thank you for tagging me!  Please check out her blog, it’s full of all sorts of interesting topics from lifestylem, travel, fashion and beauty !

Questions:

Name a beauty regimen that you rarely do?

Overnight facial things and more often than not I forget to wash my face in the morning. I’m working on it.

Is washing your make-up brushes something that you do regularly?

Yes! I’d break out like mad it they weren’t. At least once a week they are cleaned.

How long will you last with chipped nail polish?

*looks down at my nails…* GUILTY ! In some of my past pictures you may see chipped nail polish. I leave it on until I’m ready to do my nails again.

How long will you put off buying/replacing a beauty product, even if you need it?

I like to buy in advance for coverup but can delay buying other things for a while.

What is your worst beauty habit?

Leaving my mascara on at night because it’s sometimes so hard to get off… I know I know that’s horrible😣

Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?

Creating illustrations and my 5 year plan.

When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready to the last minute?

I like to plan ahead of time and be early for events and feel horribly guilty when I’m late.

Can you commit to spending bans?

Oh definitely, when I put myself on one.

How organized are your make-up and nail polish collections?

I try to stay as organized as much as possible. I have one plastic organizer which contains my lipsticks (obviously haha), a small Sephora box for my glosses, big Sephora box for hair and skin care. The rest is in my black leather 3 tier case and nail polishes in a black satchel.

  1. Hi,
I do not do my beauty regiments enough since I started blogging. How do you have time for it all? For example, you asked about washing brushes. I keep meaning to do it, but I don’t do it.
I met you on Danny’s site. Thanks for liking his reblog of my 71 tips article. Nice to meet you.
    Happy Thanksgiving.

    1. Hello Janice,
It’s nice to meet you, thank you for taking your time to come to my blog and those are some great questions. It is hard to stay organized when you have so much going on but setting a routine that works for you is key. I will admit I am not perfect when it comes to it all, I have a toddler so things get a bit tricky sometimes. I usually wake up an hour or half an hour before her, so around 6am, to be able to do clean and apply makeup. I have set certain times and days for things that need to get done and alarm reminders. For instance with my brushes I wait for sunday night after my girl has gone to bed. I know at this time I am going to take my makeup off so I bring my brushes in with me and do it all at the same time. It is difficult at first but once you find out what routine and times work for you it will just become a natural thing! Hope this has helped.
Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Thanksgiving as well,
      Corinne
