TopBox (Canada) November 2015 review

Top Box is a Canadian subscription beauty box priced at $12/month free shipping. I’d say the products from this subscription are most comparable to Ipsy. They send you an e-mail with few box samples each month that you can “Wish” between or you can opt for a complete surprise, like I have done so far. Click here to sign up

So Susan Rose Quarlet Lip & Cheek Cream – $12

When I first saw this it seemed questionable. I have had a bad experience with a lip/cheek duo in the past and I have never used So Susans products before. To my surprise these were really nice, nothing compared to the last ones. They felt rich on my lips, didn’t dry them out or crease and they blend nicely on your cheeks. It didn’t last very long on my lips or cheeks though.

SeaRx Microdermabrasion Face and Body Scrub –Β  $5

I was happy to see two samples of this, will allow me to get a better feel of the product! It says to use 1-2 times a week but I usually only use these types of products once due to my sensitive skin. It acts like a fairly mild microdermabrasion, when I hear that word I think tough but this one isn’t too rough. It was great for most areas but a bit too gentle for some areas. Another thing I liked about this is that it is lightly scented, too strong of scents give me a headache but not this.

Revlon professional style masters modular hairspray – $3.75

I am not huge on hairspray so this will be but with the christmas stuff! From what I have read online it is a good spray though.

The face shop character mask– $3

Skincarentainment, yes! I love the cute packagingand how these masks are actually the character shown on the package; as you can see from the picture above mine was a dog(or bubble puppy as my daughter said) which was for moisture and brightening. The fun appeal alone is enough to get me to buy more. It’s not just about how great the product works but also making skincare experience fun! It delivered rich moisture for my dry and flaking skin (worst time of year for me). The only downfall was it was a bit big for my face so it wrinkled in quite a few places.

Paid $12 and received $23 worth of products, not bad at all. I liked the products, will be getting more of the masks but not any of the other products.

Thanks for reading —Β  Corinne
