Ipsy Glam Bag October 2015 Reveal & Review

Royal & Langnickel Moda™Standard Eyeshadow Shader Brush – $3

Great makeup starts with great brushes! Ipsy did not let me down, I am so happy to add this to my brush collection, it is definitely going to be my new go to shading brush. It is super soft, easy to use, and hasn’t shed at all so far. Use it dry or wet before dipping in the shadows for a beautiful finish. Might I just add that it is also made out of 100% Vegan synthetic fibers and features a water-resistant handle, how perfect is that!

Eva NYCTherapy Session Hair Mask — $3

This product is enriched with Keravis Protein to help with hairs strength and elasticity as well as Argan Oil which help nourish and revitalize damaged hair. In the past year I stopped using a blow dryer and cut my straightening in half, my hair used to be coloured and damaged by heat so often, I only wish I knew about this product then. It definitely left my hair feeling more healthy, shiny and less frizzy than before.

MicaBeautyipsy EXCLUSIVE Cream Eyeshadow in Bronze- on thier site the minieral shadows are .1 oz for $15 and this product is .14 oz

I was excited when I first saw I was receiving his in my bag, and when I had it in my hands it was such a pretty colour, but it definitely turns more orange on the lids. However it is ultra-pigmented and went on so smooth with no clumping. They don’t lie on the site though when they say it is light weight and long wear. I put this on, and it stayed on perfectly for hours no creases or fading. When I went to take it off with an eye wipe it wouldn’t even come on that’s how strong the staying power is. I am extremely impressed with the quality of this product, I have had horrible experiences with cream shadows in the past but this one just changed my opinion on them. I went on their site to buy more of different colours only to find out they don’t have cream shadows on their site yet, this is an exclusive for Ipsters!

Dr. Brandt Skincare microdermabrasion – $ 10

I don’t have too many fine lines but this product helped slightly diminish the acne scarring I have on my chin and brightened my skin entirely in only a few uses, can only imagine what using it all the time would do. The smell is lovely, a hint of lemon and the exfoliant beads are not harsh at all. I was so excited to try this product, I do really like it and it seems to do exactly what it claims but I cannot justify spending $100 CAD or $78 USD on it until I am a bit older and have those fine lines to worry about. It is a great at home alternative to clinical, professional treatments.

theBalm Cosmetics Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long-Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Committed – $3

I have been dying to try these liquid lipsticks and now that I have I am convinced I need them in every colour (and I would have bought them if it weren’t $20 shipping to Canada). The colour is a nice pinky nude, my go to colour, and smells like mint patties (Yum!). The lipstick itself dries fast, doesn’t stick and last really well. I put it on at 8am, had coffee, eaten lunch, worked all day and now I am at home with it still on, not even one reapplication. In love with this product.

      1. It’s pretty neutral, seems like a shade for all skin tones. and it’s amazing, I applied it at 7am and did not have to reapply at all. I drank coffee, worked all day, ate lunch, dinner, played with the little one outside and it still didn’t budge one bit. Already ordered a few other colours
